ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities say one person is dead and another has been injured after a stabbing in St. Paul Saturday morning.
Police said the incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. at an apartment building on the 1400 block of Farrington Street in St. Paul.
Authorities have confirmed that one person is dead, one person is injured and one person is in custody at this time. Police spokesperson Howie Padilla said an adult male died at the scene from stab wounds and an adult female was also found with stab wounds. She was transported to Regions Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the adult female victim and the suspect, who was arrested at the scene without incident, had a relationship of some kind but would not specify what that relationship was. Authorities also said it is not known if the suspect and adult male victim knew each other.
It is not yet know what led up to the incident, which is under investigation at this time.
