MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minneapolis FBI is looking for a man suspected of an armed robbery of the Central Bank in Minneapolis.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the bank located at 2120 Hennepin Ave. S. The robber, described as a white man, entered the bank and approached the teller counter with a gun, demanding cash.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled from the bank on foot.
The robber is described as a white man, approximately 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11, with a thin to medium build, between the ages of late 20s to early 30s. He was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes and a black ski mask.
Police say witnesses say the man had a deep voice.
He is suspected in several other robberies across the metro area.
