Svetlana Alliluyeva, the daughter of the infamous Joseph Stalin, died on Nov. 22 in Wisconsin, where she has lived off and on after becoming a U.S. citizen.
Svetlana, a.k.a. Lana Peter, fled the U.S.S.R. in 1967 in a move that embarrassed the communists and set her on the course to become a best-selling author.
