FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University football teams are playing their annual spring games.
The UND Green-White scrimmage is at 3 p.m. at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks. One of the honorary coaches is Dave Osborn, a standout running back for the Fighting Sioux in the 1960s who went on to play nearly a dozen years with the MinnesotaVikings.
The NDSU Green-Gold scrimmage will follow a 1 p.m. ring ceremony at the Fargodome. The Bison are the defending Football Championship Subdivision champs. The game is being televised statewide.
