MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It might take you a little longer to get from Minneapolis and St. Paul this weekend as Interstate 94 shuts down for repairs.
Starting at 10 p.m. Friday, eastbound I-94 will close from Interstate 394 to Highway 55 in Minneapolis.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says detours are posted.
All ramps and roadways will reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday.
Crews are working to resurface the road as part of an ongoing I-94 improvement project.
