ST. PAUL (WCCO) – A man who led police on a chase in the east metro died after jumping from the Highway 52 bridge in St. Paul.
The chase began in Maplewood shortly after midnight and ended in a crash on the bridge just south of downtown.
The man was found under the bridge a short time later. He died a short time later.
Police still don’t know if the man was ejected or if he jumped.
Authorities also didn’t say why the man took off when police first tried to stop him.
