MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 38-year-old Blaine woman died late Tuesday night from injuries she suffered in an accident over the weekend, authorities said.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office said Jennifer Soukup died at 11:53 p.m. in Minneapolis.
Soukup and two others suffered serious injuries after a two-car crash that happen Saturday near the 9600 block of Radisson Road. Soukup was driving a Pontiac G6 when she crossed the median and drove into southbound traffic, police said.
Soukup collided with a Honda Civic, carrying two passengers. Both people in the Civic suffered serious injuries and were treated at the Hennepin County Medical Center.
According to the original police report, alcohol consumption on Soukup’s part may have been a factor in the crash.
Authorities are still investigating.
