MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — When the state legislature begins its session this week, they’ll be looking at Gov. Mark Dayton’s bonding bill.
Dayton says construciton projects will create tens of thousands of jobs.
The $775-million dollar plan, includes:
– $25 million toward a new light rail line in the southwest suburbs, from Minneapolis to Eden Prairie.
– $60 million for civic center expansions in Rochester, Mankato and St Cloud.
– $25 million to rebuild Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis.
– And $27 million for a new St. Paul Saints ballpark.
