MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 51-year-old man from Esko was killed Friday in a one vehicle accident in northern Minnesota, according to the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the accident happened at about 8:35 p.m. Friday on County Road 8 near Moys Road in Barnum Township. A passer-by saw the accident and called authorities.
The victim, later identified as Steven Craig Polla, was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The accident is under investigation by the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office.
